Additional zones beyond the initial seven are prioritized based on requests as well.

Which GST methodology should I use today?

Use the 12% methodology (14.05% factor) — that's the current Railway Board methodology and matches the published Railway SoR exactly. The 18% methodology will become available the moment Railway Board adopts CPWD's updated guidelines (per OM dated 08-08-2024). When it does, switching takes no re-entry of data — your USSOR estimates will work in both methodologies.
