Ahead of CPWD's own schedule CPWD's OM dated 08-Aug-2024 corrected how GST enters rate analysis. The published DSR-2023 still carries the old calculation. Costimator already runs the corrected one, and keeps the old one for projects that need it.

What does the free trial include?

Which rate books are available?

CPWD DSR-2023 (Civil) with its DAR, under both the new GST methodology in CPWD’s OM dated 08-08-2024 and the earlier one; and Railways USSOR-2021 (Civil) with its analysis of rates. Working from a different schedule? Tell us which one .

Will the rates match the published schedule?

Every rate is built from the schedule’s own analysis data (its resources, sub-items and margins), with the full working shown, so you can check any rate against the book. The calculations were checked by hand to the paisa.

How are rates kept up to date?

When a new edition, correction slip or methodology OM is published for a rate book we carry, we add it. You don’t track the changes yourself.

Can I bring my existing estimate?

Yes. Upload your BOQ as Excel (.xlsx), CSV or a digital PDF, map its code, description and quantity columns, review the matches, and Costimator creates the project. It works on the trial too, within its limits. Scanned PDFs aren’t supported.

Can I add items that aren’t in the schedule?

Yes. Build a Non-SOR item with its own analysis from the publication’s resources, other SoR items or custom resources, and add it to any estimate.

Can I share my work?

On paid plans, share project templates, Non-SOR items and rate libraries: on the Marketplace, with specific people (up to 20, by email), or to your organisation’s Team Library on Teams. Each person gets their own copy. See how sharing works .

Do I need to install anything?

No. Open the site, sign in and work in any browser on Windows, Mac or Linux. No USB keys or licence files. Every report downloads as Excel.

Can my office buy on a government purchase order?

Yes. Central and state departments, PSUs and autonomous bodies can buy on a PO. Send the PO with the plan details and we activate the subscription. For a department-wide licence, contact us first.
